Putra Jeevak versus K.C. Tyagi and MSM : Idiots of the Idiot Box.

I am tired of seeing the tired face of Baba Ramdev and K.C. Tyagi on different channels. Except the anchor and Tyagi ji's Nehru coat, nothing changes at all.

Being a girl, I am convinced and I don't see any harm in the name of the medicine.

Living in a time which is said to be progressive for women, I have not seen any girl in  TV advertisements except Vidya Balan or a few, who appears on TV to promote something which is not related to find new ways to enhance  girl's beauty.

Be it Dove, Fair & Lovely, Olay, Lakme or anything, it is all about how a girl can look beautiful.

I correct myself here ! not beautiful, its about looking more and more beautiful.

Impressive philosophies and  Punchlines like ....you are worth it ! Wow ! 
Gorepan se kahin zyaada, saaf gorapan !!! and a lot more.

A beautiful girl is making a fake and false promise to all girls out there which has been proven wrong ,a brand is selling its products and earning crores by making fun of  all the possible  moral grounds but nobody has raised a voice against it.

I was so shocked by Anjana Om kashyap's question to Baba Ramdev when she asked Ramdev's moral motives behind the nomenclature of this medicine as it is creating confusion among the rural women.

Dear Anjana and all Media persons ! May I ask you a small question ?

Can you show me a  girl who has become fairer by using F & L for a month?

If yes ! Please ask her to advertise the beauty cream and if  No, please ask the same question to the brand on your show.

Girls like us would be more happy and satisfied then.

Mr. K.C. Tyagi, I feel pity for you. Had I been there in your place, I would have suggested those Mahila Sangathans who came to you with the complaint to go to Baba Ramdev directly and asked him to change the name.We still can expect this  from Baba Ramdev that he would change the name for us. We know the face behind the product. He is ready to answer  your brainless and stupid questions multiple times, not because he is scared of you or anybody. Its because he understands his responsibility for his countrymen which includes women ;)

I don't know if anybody has acknowledged Mr. Tyagi's statement when he was on Zee news with Rohit Sardana. In a answer to Baba Ramdev's question, he suggested  him to not keep the name of the medicine Putrika Jeevak beacause in his kind opinion nobody would buy the medicine if the name will get changed to PUTRIKA jeevak. This was a statement made on National television by a National leader. I don't understand whether he was being too realistic or too honest or he just forgot his position and presence.

As far as the question of the ability to attract the partner is concerned, even if it there, though it does not say that, what is wrong in writing it there.

A trending add for a men's  perfume shows women getting attracted towards men , possibly in the most weird and bizzare manner and nobody has shown a concern.

Women are seen trying to attract men in almost all the genre of Art. Be it movies, Daily soaps, TV adds, magazines or  Newspapers. Everybody enjoys the item numbers which have brainless and indecent lyrics as such women are born to attract men but nobody finds it an issue of social concern.

Women are paid less than men in one of the  most glamorous and progressive place Bollywood. It has not become a national issue.

There are other issues which need to be addressed, there are other problems which need a solution.

Gender equality means equality of respect. All work  should be respected  equally. 

If you want to bring social equality, stop saving money for your daughter's marriage and stop feeling relaxed after birth of a son. 

If you want to raise your voice against gender inequality, make sure your son is not going to rape a girl .

If you are really concerned,
Do not change the name of a Medicine being sold !
Stop the easy Availability of acid in  Medical shops !!!

    Wonderfully written and nice article.....Its the mindset that has to change.......its going to be tough........but nothing less than that is acceptable!!
